Scott Tonnesen for Mayor 2026 (FPPC #1493444) operates an SMS text message program for supporters who opt in. By opting in you agree to these terms.
Participants receive informational SMS text messages regarding campaign updates and voter outreach from Scott Tonnesen for Mayor 2026. Messages may include campaign news, election and voting information, event invitations, volunteer requests, and requests for voluntary financial contributions.
You can join by submitting your mobile number and checking the consent box on our mobile opt-in page, or by texting the campaign directly. Providing consent is not a condition of purchase, of making a donation, or of participating in the campaign in any other way.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply; the campaign does not charge for messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply according to your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure about your messaging plan.
Text STOP to any message from the campaign at any time to end messages. You will receive a single confirmation message and then no further texts. You may also email Scottformayor26@gmail.com to be removed.

Supported carriers may change over time, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on your carrier’s network and on your device, and the campaign cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered.
You must be at least 13 years old and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you submit. If your mobile number changes or you give up the number, please let us know so we do not text someone who did not opt in.
Information collected through the text program is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Personally Identifiable Information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Some campaign messages, emails, and pages on this website ask for voluntary financial contributions to Scott Tonnesen for Mayor 2026. Contributions are voluntary, are not tax deductible as charitable donations, and are never required to receive messages or to take part in the campaign. Contributions are processed by our fundraising provider on its own secure site and are subject to applicable California contribution limits and public reporting requirements, including disclosure of contributor information as required by the Fair Political Practices Commission.
